How to pack your hardware
Five quick steps to make sure your item arrives safely and your offer holds.
Use an anti-static bag
Slide your card, CPU, RAM, or SSD into the anti-static bag included with our free mailer. Static electricity from clothing or carpet can damage exposed pins and traces.
Wrap on all sides
Use 1–2 inches of bubble wrap on every side. Pay extra attention to the corners — that's where most shipping damage happens. The goal is for the part to not move at all inside the box.
Use a rigid box
Cardboard with at least 1 inch of padding around the bubble layer. Soft mailers are fine for SSDs and RAM only — never GPUs, motherboards, or anything with a heatsink.
Seal and label
Tape every seam. Print the prepaid USPS label we emailed you and attach it flat — no overlap on edges, no wrinkles. Cover it with clear tape to keep it readable in rain.
Drop it off
Any USPS Post Office, UPS Store, or staffed counter that accepts USPS Ground Advantage. Hand it to a clerk — don't drop it in a curbside bin so the label is scanned right away.
